Hi! My name is Joanna Magee. I'm excited to have the opportunity to plan a memorable vacation for you and your loved ones.
I grew up loading up the family minivan and roadtripping. We spent weeks exploring along the East Coast up to Maine, throughout the west hitting the Grand Canyon, Vegas, & Yellowstone, and up and down the Pacific Coast from Seattle to San Francisco. This sparked my interest in travel from a young age.
"Once a year, go someplace you've never been." -Dalai Lama. Unless you're my family, then you'll return to the same beach house in Hilton Head, South Carolina every. single. year. for decades to come. I love the familiarity of returning year after year to a favorite destination as well as the excitement of planning a new, thrilling experience!
I have a passion for planning and experiencing European travel. I spent three months living in Florence, Italy and six weeks backpacking Western Europe in my 20s. I love everything from the mesmerizing stained glass of Sainte Chapelle in Paris, the intensity of the Brandenberg Gate in Berlin, hiking in between the gorgeous coastal towns of Cinque Terre, Italy to the quirky fun architecture of Gaudi in Parque Guell in Barcelona.
Now that I'm a mama to two young sons, my travel interests and expertise have shifted a bit. Beyond my love for European travel, I have grown to love experiences that are a bit more family-friendly than spontaneity of jumping on the next train to the next city.
I enjoy planning Disney Vacations, Disney Cruises, and getaways to family friendly all inclusive resorts. The light and excitement I see in their little faces when you arrive makes it all worthwhile. Nothing beats travelling as a family--well except maybe for the occasional much deserved relaxation of an adults-only all inclusive!!
My career over the past decade has been as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing mental health services to children, teens and their families. I am still passionate about my work in the mental health field however, when I got to know Skye and the opportunity came up to join our team I couldn't wait to jump in. Now, I have the ability to enjoy the best of both worlds and experience daily my love of travel and the joy of helping others.
